Sunday Creations and a Sunday Rant!

From what I understand about blogs, you should be able to journal your everyday life. Well...I want a second to rant. I can talk to Roger about this and I do; but geez...it does get old. Let me preface by saying I do like my job. I can handle the hours and the workload. It is a factory so it's not rocket science...KWIM? But there are people who literally drive me up a wall and make me actually want to quit just to get away from them. There is a guy (I will leave them nameless but if they read this...they would definitely know who they are...lol) who absolutely hates me. Why? Because I am friends with the supervisor. This doesn't mean I get special treatment or anything. It just means I can count on him if I should need help. That's it. Nothing more. But this guy will sabotage anything I do. For Pete's sake...it's a damn factory...we make bags. There is no need for backstabbing. Same for the older lady that works with us. I DON'T want her job. I never have. In fact, I got her that job. I made sure that the test was easy enough for her to pass. I got her nominated. UGH! These are the reasons I absolutely hate Sundays.

Enough...I could type forever...but the bed is calling me for another 12 hours tomorrow of work.

Can I show off some more creations? This first one is one that is long overdue. Thanks to Sweet Shoppe Designs for the challenge and the opportunity to finally thank my Dad for all the wonderful things he taught me. It dawned on me last week that he has been gone for 20 years now. Such a long time without him.

Spelling test!

I was browsing the message boards over at Sweet Shoppe Designs and the blog challenge was to take a spelling test!

Let me see if I can do a link here: http://www.blogthings.com/howsyourspellingquiz/

Now don't cheat! Take it and see what your score is!

Mine? My best subject in school was English...so I got a perfect score. Now if I can only learn how to type like I spell...lol!

Well..It's Saturday!

Well...another week has come to close at our house! I never did get around to making any cards for the sale in April. I have got to do this...I am such a procrastinator. We did get up to St Louis for a doctor's visit. Roger isn't feeling any better and the doc was absolutely no help at all. We are finished with him, appointwise. We will need to find another doctor..ugh!

Obviously...the last couple of days I did DO something....digital that is!

Here they come folks!

Sue and Josh are coming down!!!

YAY! Suzanne and Josh, as I am typing, are getting ready to come down for a visit! This will be the first time they have seen this house since we moved around Christmas! It really does suck with our schedules. It's too hard to see each other. I don't see it getting any easier, but you never know.

Time to show off!

Here are some LOs for my CT at DigiScrapShak!

HERITAGE CHALLENGE AT BUZY BEE SCRAPPER!

I almost forgot! Please check out the challenge over at BuzyBeeScrapper

I want to give everyone a chance to do up some layouts using those pictures that you might not think of. I love my heritage photos! They are a part of my history and I want to share that with my children!

So drop in over there, register and take part in some fun challenges! I am working on a couple of scraplifting challenges too!

A little heads up! Here is my LO for the challenge!

Beautiful Day

Oh my goodness....it is a beautiful day today! It's 60 degrees right now...a high forecasted of 66 degrees! I took Ryan out for a bit...he decided to rent a camcorder from a local rental place. I know..I know, they are way expensive there. But this is giving him a chance to try one out..to see what he is looking for. I know he is wanting to film himself playing the guitar. Ya never know, maybe my son is a budding director! Nah..probably not...lol!

I am doing a bit of digital work today with the promise of some paper scrapping tomorrow! I definitely want to work on my cards and things that I want to sell at the garage sale. We will see as usual.

Now on to big and much more interesting things! Layouts!!!

Here is some more for the Chirpi CT team!

First one is with the new kit...Happy Go Lucky!

And of course, a layout from the kit!
