Busy Day Yesterday!!

What a wonderful day I had yesterday! There is nothing better than a day off from work to get the system refueled! Thank goodness my job allows our birthdays to be a paid vacation day!!! One of the perks!

Of course, going back today was a bit of a downer, but I only have this week and then it's vacation time! I planned this vacation around NSD!!!! I can't wait and Sue will be online with me too!!!

I got a bunch of LOs done for several challenges over at Sweet Shoppe Designs. Just a little note about the LO titled My Scars. This was truly the first time I have ever taken a picture of myself where the scars show or even journaled about it. It is me and it is a story that I want my kids and their offspring to know about me. These LOs may be hard to do, but are a necessary evil in my mind. I want my descendents to know everything about me...bad, good or even ugly.

A bright, beautiful day!

I woke up this morning to the most beautiful day outside....bright and sunny. Want to know what the bummer is???? We could have had that yard sale. Oh well...maybe in a couple of weeks! What we will probably do is try to set things up downstairs instead of outside. That way, everything will stay dry and clean. And the best thing? We won't have to lug everything up from the basement to the carport.

With not having to worry about that...I got some LOs done last night!!

I am on a lucky streak lately!!!

I may not be able to win the Powerball (I always get my tickets) but I am sure lucky to be able to work with some wonderful designers!




I dropped a note to Chrissy Williams over at DigitalCandy and she has allowed my to be part of her template CT team!!!! I am so excited!!!



With all the dentist and doctor appointments this past 2 weeks, I finally have some time this weekend to do some LOs. Keep those fingers crossed that the rain stays away and I just might be able to have that yard sale!!! I need to get the schtuff out of the basement!

Monday and the work week is almost over!

Whew! I tell ya what! Sometimes it is a blessing in disguise to work these 12-hour shifts. My work week is half over now!

It's gonna be a busy week, though, for the household! Ryan is getting used to working a full week (5 days) at Walmart and he is still loving it. Roger is having some pain problems...I so wish the operations would have helped him. We are pretty well out of ideas now. He has a doc appointment on Wednesday to see about his thyroid cyst and a dentist appointment on Friday.

Well .. here comes some of the awesome news I was talking about!

I have just become a Duncan Doughnut! Now before everyone gets too excited...I mean I snagged a CT spot with Paula Duncan over at Sweet Shoppe Designs and I am totally psyched to get working on her awesome designs! Plus there is more!!! Some sad news and some layouts!

First...some sad news in the digiscrapping world. DigiScrapShak is closing down for several months. Here is the sale information:
